How to Make Hand Print Animals

Appropriate for kids of all ages with adult supervision.

Supplies
construction paper
scissors
tape or glue
markers
pencils

Select some pieces of paper in colors you like, then use a pencil to trace your hand on each sheet.  With the scissors, cut out your hand prints.  When you have a number of cut-outs, sit down with your paper and see what animals you can make.  Can you make a turkey out of one of the cut-outs?  Can you use them to make a butterfly, with the hands as wings and an oval body cut out from paper?  How about bird's wings?  Try overlapping a number of hand prints and see what you can design.
